Job Title: .4 FTE Educational Assistant II

 

Description:     The Village School, a K-8 public charter school, seeks an Educational Assistant II position to assist the Teacher in the 1^st Grade program, help with playground supervision and support school-wide dismissal for the 2010-2011 School Year. This is a part-time position working Monday – Friday 12:00noon to 3:00pm.                     

 

Qualifications:            Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education or Equivalent Combination of Education and Experience.

Knowledge of Waldorf Curriculum Preferred

                                    Strong Classroom Management Skills

Ability to Demonstrate Patience, Sense of Humor, and Creativity

Background Check Required

CPR/First Aid Training Preferred

 

Salary Range: $ 13.55 – $ 15.25 DOE
